Martin Takes Lights-to-Flag Victory in French MotoGP Sprint Race

Spaniard Jorge Martin dominated the MotoGP Sprint Race at the Le Mans circuit on Saturday, leading from start to finish for his third victory of the season.

Martin, who had shattered the lap record in qualifying to claim pole position, made a clean start and immediately pulled away from the field. He built a comfortable lead and never looked back, crossing the line almost two seconds ahead of Brad Binder on the KTM.

World championship leader Fabio Quartararo finished third on his Yamaha, but Martin's victory has strengthened his title hopes. The Spaniard now leads Quartararo by 15 points in the standings.
